Char Encoding in Eclipse

• Set the global text file encoding at Windows->Preference->General-> Workspace
  
• To set the encoding on the individual file rather than using the global preference setting, go to File > Properties > Info.

Configure Menu --> Preferences --> Document Classes --> Default --> Default encoding --> UTF-8
